This excursion is dedicated to anyone who wants to discover our territory and experience the sea in total relaxation, without giving up the thrill of discovery.
Feel like part of a real research crew by joining our sailing excursion from Vulcano: we’ll sail “in search mode,” cutting through the sea in anticipation of spotting these magnificent marine animals — the cetaceans.
For over an hour, we’ll search for dolphins (dolphin watching) using marine mammal observer techniques — and you’ll get to try your hand at it too. We’ll scan the horizon at low sailing speed, looking for fins, blows, jumps, or any clue on the water’s surface that might signal the presence of wildlife.
We’ll explain the behavior of the cetaceans we observe and use photo-identification techniques to gather valuable data about their lives. You’ll also get the chance to listen to the sounds of the sea thanks to the use of an hydrophone — a tool commonly used by marine biologists to study cetacean bioacoustics and the sounds of the marine landscape.
This eco-tour will be guided by pure relaxation in front of one of the most breathtaking spectacles you’ll ever witness: the silhouettes of the islands painted in pink and orange hues as the sun rises over the sea, lighting up the coastline and casting shadows and sparkles on the water.
Every sunrise is a new beginning: it doesn’t matter if you’ve seen 10, 100, or 1,000 — you’ll find yourself in absolute silence, mesmerized by this gift from nature as you enjoy a delicious breakfast on board.

L’imbarcazione utilizzata è un gommone dotatao di zona prendisole.
L’attività è disponibile da marzo a novembre ed è confermata al raggiungimento di minimo 6 partecipanti.
Attenzione: necessario presentarsi almeno 10 minuti prima della partenza.
Il punto di ritrovo è a Filicudi (Pecorini mare) o Lipari (Marina Corta). Puoi contattarci per organizzare uno shuttle.
L’escursione si svolge compatibilmente con le condizioni meteo-marine a discrezione dell’organizzatore.
A bordo è preferibile rimanere scalzi e consegnare le proprie calzature all’imbarco.

I delfini, le balene ed i capodogli sono animali selvatici, quindi l’avvistamento non è garantito.
In caso di mancato avvistamento, il costo del biglietto non verrà rimborsato.
Le escursioni vengono realizzate solo con buone condizioni meteo-marine e possono essere cancellate in caso di meteo avverso.
If weather conditions prevent us from departing, each participant will be entitled to a refund or rescheduling of the expedition on the next available date.
If the departure is canceled for other reasons not directly related to our activity, a personal travel fee refund is not provided.

We cannot guarantee the sighting of cetaceans on every expedition, as it depends on highly variable factors such as maritime traffic. However, thanks to our experience, we have designed our expeditions in locations and at times when sightings are most frequent.
